Will Hive work with my heating?
Hive works with many gas and LPG heating systems, and suitable oil systems with existing thermostat or programmer controls. Compatibility depends on your boiler, wiring and current controls. We’ll check those before recommending a replacement, including any existing modulating controls.
Hot-water scheduling needs a compatible system with a separate hot-water cylinder and the correct receiver. It is different from setting the water temperature.
What equipment will I need?
The right thermostat, receiver and Hive Hub setup depends on the model and your system. App control needs an internet connection and a compatible phone. Some extra features require an optional Hive+ subscription; we’ll discuss the equipment and any ongoing costs before you decide.
